Blade Runner Lighting
Recreation
This project was for RTA 970 (Lighting Grip and
Effects) and focuses on recreating the lighting of
the interview scene between Deckard and Rachel in
"Blade Runner" (1982).
We fixed these problems by testing light positions,
adjusting angles and intensity to match the
original scene, and controlling external lights
by blacking out the windows.
Role: Lighting/
Cinemtography
The creative problem my partner and I faced was
recreating the cinematic lighting while working
under time and environmental constraints. This
involved carefully positioning lights, dealing
with unwanted external light and working in a
cold garage.
This project demonstrates skills in lighting and
cinemetography
